Rock-Tech selected for Resound install

Rock-Tech was recently selected to install sound, light and video for Resound Church's new building in North East Bristol. The building is shaping up to be beautiful, with a roof that wraps the whole of the main auditorium and larch-clad sides. Working with the architects, Rock-Tech designed very low profile flying brackets for the installed hardware, in order to clear the special acoustic board in the roof - an important part of the energy efficient passive design of the building.

The site is being managed by Cowlin Construction, so Rock-Tech are working under building site regulations (hence the hard hats, gloves and hi-vis!). Cabling was run several weeks ago and we are now entering the proper installation phase. Resound are purchasing a premium Hill M9DX sound system, projection and a lighting truss. Rock-Tech have also installed enough cabling and flying hardware for future upgrades, so that a full motorised truss grid can be installed.
